Singles 90-129 Zl with bath, doubles 128-170 Zl with bath.
Clean rooms.
This hotel is situated in
Powisle, across the road
from the Vistula River
and 10 minutes by foot
(all uphill) from the Royal
Route. Traffic noise can
be a big problem in
front-facing rooms, but
courtyard-facing rooms
are peaceful. The decor
throughout is dull, with
plenty of dark-wood
paneling and
chocolate-brown paint,
and there is no
air-conditioning.
Only the
10 doubles have private
bathrooms. The rooms,
though, are spacious and
comfortable, and
everything is clean. 360
rooms, 10 with bath.

This three-story socialist-realist building on the edge of Lazienki Park was taken over from the Communist Central Committee in 1990 by Warsaw University. It is used mainly for university guests, but overflow rooms are rented throughout the year. The spartanly decorated rooms are of good size, and many overlook the beautiful park. It is probably the best-located hotel in the price range. 40 rooms. Restaurant. AE, DC, MC, V.
